Just Do It Again

Can you believe there was a king of Judah who had the audacity to burn the scroll that contained the Word of the Lord as it was read to him? That sickens me to the core. I guess he thought if it could disappear, it would no longer apply.

Well, you know the Lord and how victory belongs to Him...He just had it written again.

There will inevitably be times in your life when the enemy seems to defeat you.

You will get betrayed.

There will be lies told about you.

You will be mocked for doing what is right.

You will get burned.

How about we take the cue from the Lord and just do what's right again?

Why don't we just choose to not allow an apparent "defeat" to beat us?

You only lose when you stop fighting.

And when you can't find the strength to lift up your head again, there is One who stoops to make you great, One who lifts up your head for you.

He is in your corner...and He isn't stopping either.

Father, there are times when my flesh wants to throw in the towel. Thank You that You are standing by my side catching that towel and helping me to wipe my brow, my tears, and then keep going. In Jesus' Name. Amen.

Jeremiah 36, Psalm 18:35, Psalm 3:3
