Box Be Broken
I was writing this morning, and I didn't have peace about the topic I thought may be for today. Ironically it was about choosing our own way, even when the Lord is choosing something else. So, in deciding to back up and punt, what stirred in me was a song the Lord allowed me to write about seven or eight years ago.
I pray that you imagine the woman at the Lord's feet, breaking her alabaster box before Him. I pray that you see her desperation and are stirred to be at that point yourself.
Box Be Broken
Here I am, the good and the bad
All my treasure I bring
May this please You, ‘cause there’s no going back
All I am is Yours, my King
Box be broken
All I am spilled out
My heart is opened
I can’t turn back now
I’m broken
Here I stand, through the good and the bad
No matter the fight it may bring
I wanna please You, there’s no going back
All I am is Yours, my King
I’m not here just to pour out my soul
I’m here to shatter what’s left of my plans
I’m past the point of no return
This bridge is gonna be burned
There is no going back
There is no going back
Box be broken
All I am spilled out
My heart is opened
I can’t turn back now
I’m broken
