Our Father who art in heaven...
Father, You dwell in the highest heavens, and yet You still somehow choose to inhabit me. You are seated on Your throne high and lifted up, yet you dwell with the lowly and contrite to revive them. You are exalted above the heavens, and Your glory is over all the earth. Father, no matter how high I reach up, I cannot reach You - so You tell me to lower myself, and then You reach down for me. My Father.
Father of Jesus, Creator of all things, You give the right to be called Your daughter because of belief in Your Son. By Your Spirit I cry out, "Abba, Father." I can call You this because You have adopted me through the blood of Christ. Who am I to be named Your child? But oh how I love sitting in Your lap. My Father.
Father, there are many fathers of earth who give a tainted view of what our perspective of You should be. You are good, kind and loving. You are also firm, strong and just. I surrender to Your discipline because You lead with love. You are the One who wounds me with Your Word, and then heals me with Your Word again. My Father.
My Father in heaven, hallowed be Your Name. I love You, Daddy.
