Let My Words Be Few

September 5, 2018

I can get "long-winded" when it comes to writing sometimes; you can ask any of my English/Literature teachers over the years.  While speaking doesn't come naturally to me, I love to pour out thoughts on paper.  However, today I feel in my heart to be short and sweet with my word count.

I challenge you to simply seek the Lord...and then obey Him.  It isn't as complicated as we like to make it, but it is more rewarding than we could ever imagine.

I dare you to break up your unplowed ground and sow obedience.  Don't keep defining insanity in your everyday lives:  doing the same things over and over while expecting different results.  Find out what the Lord wants, and just obey Him.

Father, Your Word says that obedience is better than sacrifice.  I choose to trust and obey You, knowing that doing what pleases You is my reward.  In Jesus' Name.  Amen.

Scripture:

Ecclesiastes 5:1-2

1 Samuel 15:22

Ephesians 5:10

Hosea 10:12
